Eight Strategic Bridges that "The Bridge" Must Help Build

We must believe that Jacksonville is a gateway city for the new move of God to manifest itself. As a church, The Bridge commits
to this statement. And, if Jacksonville is such a gateway city, then we as local believers need to acknowledge that. And then we
need to do whatever we can to allow this revival to flourish not just outside of the city walls but inside as well.

Below are the eight (8) keys that the Lord has shown us that if they can come together, the spiritual climate of this city can be
transformed.

1.        The Bridge to Eternity – This is our first and primary purpose…to bridge the gap with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We must be
a ministry that brings the lost to the feet of Christ
2.        The Bridge to Unity – There is no black, white, Baptist or Pentecostal church. Jesus is looking for the one true Church! We
will be a church that pursues the unity of diversity.
3.        The Bridge to the Nations – The scripture declares that we are to go to all nations and preach the gospel. We will be
missions minded church. Our goal is that 30-35% of our members have gone on a short term missions trip.
4.        The Bridge of Fellowship – The church is a family and we must look at it and treat it as such. We are here for one another.
5.        The Bridge of the Generations – The church has to break the so called “Generational Gap”. In order to remain relevant
beyond our generation, we have to build a bridge to and for the next generation.
6.        The Bridge to the Family – The family unit is God’s first and primary social institution. It existed before the Church. The
Bridge will be a church that ministers to the family…father/husband, mother/wife, sons/daughters for the glory of God.
7.        The Bridge of Relationship – The church will develop mature disciples of Christ. Beyond salvation, there is development in
the Christian life that we must have. Our relationship with God must be strong, vibrant, alive and powerful.
8.        The Bridge to Destiny – The Bridge Church is fully committed to being an instrument in releasing the saints of God into their
destiny!

We believe with everything that is within us that God is going to pour out a fresh move on our city! The points above are vital for the
church to grasp in this season!
